What's new on the horizon???

Can anyone who knows of any new shows with gay/lesbian/bi/trans characters airing on TV this fall please email me so I can stay on top of things?

I watched the sneak peak of GLEE and it definitely has a camp aesthetic and some ambigously gay characters. And the lead girl is the daughter of two gay dads (though they were only mentioned)

I heard the actress who plays "shane" from L Word is in a new show but I don't know anything about it. Do you know if her new character is gay?

Anything else on I should keep an eye on?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

He bakes, he wears a coat and tie at practically all times, he reads Valley of the Dolls while on a trip to the shooting range with his dad, and he kick's the ass of his big sister's abusive boyfriend.

Marshall Gregson is the latest queer character to grace the television landscape. He's the youngest child on the new Showtime dramady The United States of Tara The program is about a mother who has mulitple personalities. Her husband and children accept her "alters" as other members of the family.

Marshall is Tara and Max's sensitive and good-natured son. Writer Diablo Cody has said that Marshall's sexuality is "just matter-of-fact" and "definitely wasn't intended as any sort of plot point". Though the family is supportive of Marshall, Buck(one of his mother's alters who identifies as male) is slightly homophobic and often makes disparaging remarks; Cody thought "it would be really fun" to have the dichotomy of Tara being "incredibly supportive" while Buck is "kind of a homophobe", though "he actually does love Marshall". Gilchrist was praised for his portrayal, with one critic commenting that he "deserves his own series" and another saying that he was "the real breakout star ... [his] expressive, trusting face will definitely break your heart in some scenes".

I've seen the first ep of the program developed by Juno screenwriter Diablo Cody and Exec Produced by Steven Speilberg. It's definitely something worth watching.
